Hindu Swayam Sevak Sangh Shakha


Every Sunday 4pm, Altamont Elementary School - Small Gym,

Mountain House, CA


Every Sunday we do the following:

1. Starting Shlokhas - Ekatmata Mantra

2. Warm Ups

3. Surya Namaskar

4. Yoga

5. Games - Physical and Intellectual

6. Shlokas for Kids. Spiritual Discussion (Bhaudhik for Adults)

7. Prarthana.



Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) USA is a voluntary, non-profit, social and cultural organization. It aims to organize the Hindu community in order to preserve, practice and promote Hindu ideals and values. HSS conducts structured programs of regular athletic and academic activities to develop strong character and leadership skills in its member. Emphasizing values such as self-discipline, self-confidence and a spirit of selfless service (seva) for humanity. It encourage maintaining Hindu cultural identity inharmony with the larger community.



HSS is inspired by the idea that the whole world is one family and conducts activities across the United States in order to spread this message widely.  HSS invites all kids with their family and friends to participate in Balagokulam sessions. The goal of HSS is to promote Hindu heritage and to unite the Hindu society.



What is BalaGokulam?


Balagokulam is a fun filled learning event for kids & parents through activities. At Balagokulam everyone learn Hindu values in an enjoyable manner and make good friends. Our focus is to bring great qualities in our children including Jnaana (Knowledge), Samskar (Character), Sanghatan (Unity), and Niswarth Seva Bhaav (Selfless Service) while building strong community andleadership with lots of funBalaGokulam’s Objective is


 To facilitate children to appreciate, learn and practice Hindu way of life.

 Instill pride and confidence in Hindu children about their identity.

 Raise Hindu awareness in the society around.

 Develop social awareness and leadership skills among children.
